Update 8/11: 6,794 backers and so close to 1000% funded. Geekify will be moving forward with the $400,000 stretch goal (Illustrated Card Standees!) even though it wasn't quite achieved. Additionally, if you missed out on the campaign and still want to be a part, you can use Kickstarter's new “Late Pledge” feature. (Click here and click “Back this Project”) This still entitles you to the Kickstarter exclusive bonuses, avatar, and virtual items.
Update 8/10: Down to the final day and the Kickstarter has reached over 5,500 backers and is approaching it's eleventh stretch goal! Today Geekify has posted an update which includes some more details on game play as well as a video that demonstrates.
Update 8/6: Just 4 days left for the Kickstarter and almost 2,500 Neopians have backed it. Six stretch goals have unlocked and there are still more to go!
Geekify has provided the following info in regard to Rare Item Codes
| $1 or more will unlock a UNIQUE Avatar Code! This is exclusive to those who backed the Kickstarter and will not be obtainable outside the Kickstarter for the foreseeable future. Physical Books (not PDFs) will have UNIQUE Codes! These codes will always be available with physical book purchases. Add-Ons will have random item codes. |
The Neopets TTRPG is now Live on Kickstarter!
The main item is the core rule book ($60 or $20 for digital) which is everything that you need to start an Adventure! Also available is the Fall of Faerieland campaign module ($40 or $15 for digital) to help save Neopia from ruin! There are also a host of additional items available as add-ons or you can grab a full bundle of everything for $200! Check out that Kiko Dice Bag! There will also be virtual prize codes for backers (and an avatar!)
This has been in the works for over two years now with the team at Geekify working with many notable members of the Neopian community to ensure that it follows Neopian lore as closely as possible. Quests, Mini Games, Random Events, Jobs, Neggs, The Battledome, Petpets, and so much more will be featured!

Neopets CEO Dominic Law, Upper Deck President Jason Masherah, Neopets Battledome TCG Game Designer Bobby Coovert, and TNT Aesop will be hosting a panel on Thursday, July 25 from 12pm-1pm in Room 28DE, titled “Neopia Reimagined!” where they will discuss bringing virtual characters to life.
Attendees are encouraged to share photos from the event tagging Neopets social media accounts with the hashtag #NeopetsSDCC2024 to be entered for a chance to win a Neopets prize pack! Winners will be selected each day of the convention.
