Our Friends at What's Your Passion Jewelry have shared a sneak peek of their New York Comic-Con exclusives (and more!)

The exclusives will only be available (online and at the show) during the show. (See below for specific times) The remaining items are not limited and will be available year round once they launch.

Update 10/12: Some of the items have sold through available quantities and have been moved to preorder. For the NYCC Exclusives, as long as you place your order while they are available (Before October 16th, 8:59pm NST) you will receive them (including the Paint Brush pin if your total is above $45) but there will be a delay in shipping while the items are produced. Note that if you order both preorder and non preorder items, they will all ship together.

Today, Neopets has announced that they will be attending/supporting three events this season.

First up is RetroGameCon in Syracuse NY (October 7 - 8) where they are sponsoring a charity auction for Extra Life and all attendees will receive an exclusive Lanyard.

Next is New York Comic-Con - Beyond the Convention (October 13 - 14) - featuring a “Faerie Extravaganza” with Neopets themed quests, photo-ops and giveaways!

Lastly, Neopets new CEO Dominic Law will be in attendance at Gamescom Asia (October 19 - 22) speaking about the past, present, and future of Neopets.

As mentioned last week, Neopets has launched a sweepstakes to celebrate their new era.  You can win one of 300 (100 of each) NeoHoods featuring Yellow Kacheek, Red Acara, or Blue Aisha.

There are three different prize groups that you can enter between now and September 27th (7:00 AM NST) with different qualifications.

Group 1 (150 Winners) - Be a Premium Subscriber during the giveaway period.

Group 2 (100 Winners) - Purchase Neocash during the giveaway period (The way this is worded we interpret it as purchasing Neocash directly from the site - not redeeming a Neocash card purchased elsewhere, and not purchasing something with Neocash from the NC Mall)

Group 3 (50 Winners) - Login to Neopets.com during the giveaway period

You can earn a total of 13* entries into each group you qualify for by completing actions on the sweepstakes link (a gleam.io account is required)

(*10 entries plus 3 for referring a friend to the sweepstakes - you may only earn entries for referring one friend)

Winners will be contacted on October 13th (and they estimate an additional two months to ship prizes.)

No word yet on whether the NeoHoods will also be available for purchase or if they are exclusive to this giveaway.

During this evenings AMA with Domenic Law (Neopets CEO) he briefly discussed Neopets Merchandise and some of their plans going forward.

Mr. Law first spoke of their plans to revamp Neopets Shop. He was not able to provide any ETAs (a lot of work has been done though) but as part of that they are looking to “make [Neopets] merchandise a lot more available to people outside the US and Canada.” so are looking into better shipping options for people around the globe.

They are also working on new merchandising and licensing as a main pillar of their strategy for Neopets. There will be a large release to celebrate Neopets 25th anniversary in 2024.

He went on to say that merchandise takes from 6-18 months “from the time the ideas are finalized until the time the merch hits the shelf" and they are still pitching ideas to get new licensees on board.

Mr. Law then shared a sneek peek of a sample of some upcoming merch that he just received.  It's a Kacheek hat and the ears flip when you squeeze the tassles! No info, but he said they were planning on doing a giveaway soon.

Preorders have launched for Geekify Inc.'s Limited Edition Usukicon Swag Bag!

They are estimated to ship around mid-October late April 2024 late summer 2024, and each includes a Virtual Prize Code!

Update 7/12/2024: The Usuki Doll Keychains have arrived in the US and are awaiting clearance from customs. If customs clearance takes longer than expected they may be shipped separately than the rest of the items (to US customers) in order to get folks their stuff faster.

Update 5/17/2024: Geekify has updated the shipping to late summer and provided an update that the factory is just finishing up the Usuki Figures and then they will be shipped over. They are also adding a few more items to the bag (including an Usukicon Slap Bracelet) to make up for the extended production time.

Update 3/1/2024: Geekify has updated the shipping date to late April.
